Notes

My foot was a little sore in the morning. Before the race, the ankle was kind of sore when I rotated it . After warming up it didn't bother me at all, and so I decided to really race this as planned. I'd go out and get a steady pace and try to accelerate in the 2nd and 3rd miles. First Mile 6:50, messed up the split for 2, but I think I excecuted very well. I pushed for more speed and slowly got comfortable holding the stride and pace. I can always sense that I could go faster, but the body just won't coordinate and pull it off. This race pulled it together much better. Great feeling to keep the sprint up all the way into the chute.
