Garmin battery went dead. This was a 50K, probably closer to 32 miles. I forgot to start my watch until more than half a mile into the race.
Lots of water crossings and mud. I tripped and fell three times, the last time spectacularly sliding downhill through the brush. I didn't notice at the time, but apparently I went through poison oak.
