Notes
Morning weight: 145.8 - too low?
Morning Nutrition:
1/2 ProBar
VITs/MINs
NSAIDs
For the run:
NUUN/water mixture
Thermalyte an hour before the run, and maybe one after the first 30 minutes.
Just checked the temperature outside. COLD. Just one Thermalyte will be enough for an hour run.
Run was good. Lots of leg pain, but not out of the ordinary considering yesterday's workout. The hamstrings were very tight.
Did 8 miles on the track. Some knee tweaks, but not the tendonitis. Normal stuff for my body since I haven't run in a while. Kinda like an adjustment period. We'll see as the day goes on and tomorrow morning.
The left calf was tight, but again that's normal considering the bone spur.
Around mile 5, I stopped to stretch the hamtrings and quads. Really helped, so I did it again at 6 and 7.
Stats: 8 miles 1:12:41 which is around a 9 minute mile. Garmin HR strap slipped off me, so the readings for calories and HR are off, but at times the HR was around 135.
Garmin: 474 calories. Avg HR was 147 and max of 248 - both wrong.
Time to stretch, ice, and eat....and pray I can get through Augusta strong :)
Weight after run: 144.4 - really?
