OK, so its back to work. Time to get after defending my Colorado marathon titles and gunning for that three-peat. Cut out of work early today and headed to the Y to get a run in. Started really easy at 8 minute pace and stepped the mile down like this: 7:40, 7:20, 7:00, 6:40, 6:20. Then backed it up to 6:40 pace for a cool down half. I know it was 7 minute pace, but this way I definitely felt like I got a good workout in and was sweating my ass off. Day 1 in the books. Next day off is 2 days after the CO marathon.

On a side note, I weighed the most I ever have at the Y today - 146 pounds. I am a good 7-8 pounds over my racing weight and have some work to do!
