Snowed about 6 inches over night in Jacksonville. Amy and I headed out for a run in some terrible footing and blowing wind and snow. We ran a 21 minute loop which was only about 2.5 miles or so. I dropped her off at the house and went out for another loop. I went back behind the gate by pioneer point and when i came around the corner and saw a group of 30 wild turkeys just standing in the snowy road. They were about 20 feet in front of me and all turned and saw me at the same time. There was a flurry of wings after that and turkeys flying everywhere. Pretty crazy.
