Notes

Good hard tempo run. Held back for the first half, ran the first four miles in 26:45. Ran the second half into a head wind and still did a negative split of 26:30. HR started around 150-155 and was into the low 160s during the last three miles. I have not run that hard since the CDA Half Marathon on 5/25. Had some aches and pains, but overall felt pretty good. It was nice to have a planned hard run and be able to execute it well. The best idea was to NOT workout this morning. I usually do a relatively hard Computrainer ride on Tuesday morning, but decided to switch it up putting that workout at the end of the day and make it an easy 1.5 hour spin. The goal today was to focus on this run.
