Raining, but otherwise excellent weather. Right heel was taped with Y tape of Kinesio tape from base of heel up to about 10-12 inches up my calf. With an extra Y on the outer part. Pretty painful; also having intestinal distress due to eating Indian buffet the day before and not able to use porta potty right before race when I needed it. These shoes and new medium wt toe socks worked well. Also wore tights, boston white long sleeve and boston vest, Annapolis half hat.
