Very scenic, very steep trail partially paved, mostly rock and dirt along river, waterfalls, in woods, with steep, rocky cliffs. With Dennis and Atticus for part of it. Gorge trail to Red Pine trail to Upper Gorge trail to Rim trail intersection, back on Upper Gorge trail again to the other intersection with Rim trail and along Rim trail back to car. Outstanding scenery, some very long and steep climbs, lots of steps on some of the part near the waterfalls. Beautiful place between cabin and Ithaca. Then we had lunch/dinner at Thai Express in Ithaca. Beautiful sunset and rain back here. It rained a little on the hike as well. I fell once on the way up the steep steps and didn't get hurt. Once on the last step or 2 to get back to the parking lot where I did cut my right knee pretty deeply and hurt at first, but then felt okay.
