This was awful. Way too much sticky wax on my skis it was more of a walk/march than ski. I had to scrape them down and start all over after about 1 mile. Not a good recovery activity after the full marathon!! I wore my toe socks plus my smart wool socks and that worked, but my left 2nd to smallest toe was extremely pinched and painful. Boots are a bit short for wearing thick socks needed to keep back of heel from rubbing...
