White toe socks, inserts that came with shoe. This felt great. Nice to run in lighter shoes without orthotics. I rolled left ankle completely once on the way back and recovered immediately. Camelback, wool hat, 2 pairs of tights, warm boston fuzzy jacket; very windy 10-20 mph gusting to 30 mph. This felt more effortless than other simiar trail runs, not sure if the shoes or contrast from running long on asphalt yesterday. Glad I did this. Missed Atticus and Dennis though. Beautiful and quiet on the trail mostly frozen, but not slick.
