I think I probably ran a bit short on each interval. I didn't have a watch so I counted the number of breaths for a half mile on the bike path and tried to keep track that way. But since the intervals were about 1000m and rest was about 300 I never started on the half mile markers. Whatever. Probably fine to not have everything so marked out.
