I've wanted to do this workout forever. But 2 sets would've been better. Quentin Cassidy would've done 2.

20x400 with 200m jog between intervals @ 68-70. The first one was hard, but once I got the dust off my legs, it was not a problem at all to hit pace. I'm not the runner I used to be. I'm smarter and stronger and more resilient. The wind made for uneven splits, but no worries 33/36 or 35/33 still was on pace. I started around 71 and then 67, but slowly worked my way to hitting 69 on every lap with a few 68s. Closed in 64 feeling relaxed. That 1:11 towards the end was a fluke. Whoops. I jogged 400m at the halfway mark, and my 200m were around 1:15.
