Notes
A funky do day. Boots got sprayed by a skunk last night and was up whining all night so I slept like crap. Couldn't get out during Cedar's nap for a run, so I put him in the jogger and ran him to Jared's party. Had dinner, ran home, did bedtime, held Linden while she screamed for an hour, then was finally out the door by 9:30pm. The sky was clear and calm. The star-laden sky was a peaceful quiet to the otherwise busy and chaotic day. I felt like I was running pretty even splits, though I only got my 400 (76), 800 (2:26), 1600 (4:54) and 3200 (9:54.2) splits. That 2nd quarter was way too fast, but I really wanted to break 5. I've broken 5 in the mile every year since I was 15 or so and wanted to check off the box for year 38.
