Through this training block, when given the option, I almost always took the higher end of the mileage range on my training plan. And today, I took the low end. Traveled to Chicago yesterday and didn't get to bed until almost 11 (midnight in VT). Slept a full 8 and was out the door, but it was already over 80 and 80% humidity.

The good thing was the run was beautiful. I wound up stumbling on a bike path in an old swamp/floodplain. Surrounded by killdeer, red-winged blackbirds, a bald eagle, kingbirds, song sparrows, yellowthroats, and a whole bunch of other birds. Beautiful place. Excited to explore more of that trail on my long run tomorrow.
