Ran to Waterbury! Pretty darn happy with this one. But damn was it frustrating to have another long run directly into the wind. It was sort of miserable but I handled it just fine. The worst part was that the wind was super dry and exacerbated the soreness in my chest/throat. I wound up having some bloody boogers and a bit of blood in my hacking cough Sunday morning after the run. I'm not worried though because the run didn't tax me otherwise and I slept 10 hours last night!! And I feel fine otherwise.
I had also planned on eating/drinking on the run but didn't wind up doing that. I kind of bonked around 2:25 into the run, but that coincided with a hill climb and the strongest headwind I felt on the run. I think 3 hours at 7 minute pace didn't really put me in that energy crunch but want to practice fueling just to get my body used to digesting while running.
