2x3k fast, 1 mile jog

3.5 cool down

An awesome day. I don't think I could've gone much faster. Maybe in a race situation with someone else pacing, but I was pretty tapped out by the end. The first one felt soooooo easy though. I didn't kick or anything, just relaxed and easy (2:57, 3:00, 3:00 for my 1k splits). The second one I as probably a bit more even on my splits (3:00, 3:04, 3:03, but that's because after the 1st k I started passing people more often). Had to work for that last 1k to be on pace, and closed pretty strong. Looking back at my other 3ks, this one was significantly better given that it was so easy and felt like a workout. I'll be curious to see what I can run in an all out 3k.
