Whoa. Kind of surprised myself. I'm not sure how this workout was supposed to feel. I went into it after a long hot day out in the woods. This was surprisingly one of the hottest feeling days of the summer for me. In full sun and with all the humidity I was pouring sweat by the end of it, but in the end it felt incredibly easy. I was supposed to run around 5-5:10 pace for each interval (2x400, 800, 1200, 1600 w/ 400 jog), but I couldn't help but run fast. I had to hold back on the last mile interval. Now that it's after dinner and I'm resting at home I definitely feel tired, but while I was out there it was great. A nice tune up workout before getting back into the racing season with Bobby Doyle!
