Notes

Warmish afternoon for a run. Left foot niggle still with me - even with stretching beforehand. Niggle was more pronounced from the start and throughout all my slow builds, therefore about 40 minutes. During the 100m run throughs and slow jog back to base was not such an issue.

No issues with my heart rate regarding higher than normal readings for the first 5 minutes or so.

Calf muscles really tight, obviously the 100m run throughs taking their toll or is that I'm more consistently landing on my forefoot. During the slow jogs I'm concentrating on this aspect more so. Another question arises, could this be the cause or the aggravation of my left foot niggle.

I've just re-read the session plan. Between the slow builds I should have walked float for 2 mins. Note to self, read plan properly before heading out.
