Punishing.
Get the excuses in early. Went out two fast over the first 2km, I'm 4kg over what I was a few months ago at Kungsholmen Runt and the hills were brutal.
I felt very good despite the extra weight. I knew that a PB was possible but it as not meant to be. I realised at 5km that I was down on PB and felt exhausted. Soldiered on and ended up with the 2nd best 10km ever. And 9mins faster than my previous best Midnattsloppet. Plus beat Jamie by a minute.
So pleased but slightly disappointed also. I gave it a lot - at one point I couldn't remember where I worked! - so no fault there.
