Easy Run

Felt about 20% better health wise (cold receded) & by the afternoon the tightness in my calf disappeared (and did not bother me at during today's run). Started at Whole Foods left on Fairview right on Sharon went around Wells Fargo back parking lot back out onto Sharon right on Colony & right into Harris Teeter passing by store (mi 1 - felt good for the first 300m & then felt dead after that as if I over-sprinted, just worked on shortening my stride & getting into rhythm), looped twice around Harris Teeter then out & right on Sharon out to Red Wolf looped back to Inspire (mi 2 - continued to feel terrible as if I sprinted too hard to begin with, felt dead, out of rhythm, just tried to "gut this out"), hung right into far Inspire lot ran out left & then right to Barnes Noble left past Earth Fare right & left past Inspire & left into lot for another loop then out to Firebirds (mi 3 - amazingly, this felt like mi 2 but felt "less winded" & had no clue I ran this much faster till 1/2 mi later), ran down Sharon crossed Morrison to other side of street past BOA & then.....tripped on uneven pavement & took a really bad fall -- landed on left shoulder, left hand & left knee (shoulder hurt badly, hand worse, entire knee scrapped up & bloody), laid on pavement for about 1 min. Got up (saw mi 3 split) & resumed down Sharon crossed Fairview looped twice around Suntrust lot & then back & up Fairview into Whole Foods (last 1.1 mi - felt strong & felt ok after the fall although left shoulder & hand ached). When I got to Whole Foods damage to knee was bad - my left ankle reflector was crimson fr the blood pouring down leg & people departing were transfixed on how bloody left leg looked.
