6 x Strides on AG Track
Needed to do some speed work like this to "fine tune" things for Saturday. But very concerned that I could cause damage to left upper thigh as speed impacts this. So approached this with a lot of trepidation. Plan was to do 5 on the track (stride straightaway, jog curves) and "ease into this". No damage on first one so opened up a little faster on each until #4 where I felt like I could hit 4th gear (as "best pace" shows below)...plus these were all "U graph" efforts (vs. "V graph"). AHR values above make no sense (except that a guy on the track was with his dog Cereberus and this dog is lightening fast and the dog would run up from behind me at times!). Accurate splits:
