Long Run
Fast walked & did drills prior (was sweating just fr a warmup & it felt much more humid). Started fr Whole Foods & ran this at a super easy pace left on Sharon to Sulkirk & looped around (Rutherford back to Sulkirk) & then took the right after Rutherford & ran this out & left on Park South & left on Sulkirk & then another loop & then out & left on Sharon (mi 1 -5, this felt very easy for the first 5 miles but I was sweating like crazy). And as my pace shows somewhere after mi 5 the heat got to me to a degree where things did not feel as "super easy" anymore (took a little more to maintain cadence and stay in rhythm), ran down Sharon past Fairview to Earth Fare & into lot and at just about mi 7 felt like my body was overheating and forced to stop (walked around to vent heat, shorts were completely soaked thru). Then resumed and actually felt terrible as if my muscles had lost all of their "spring" over the final two miles (these felt like 11 min pace).
