Easy Run
Fast walked & did drills prior. Started out fr HarrisY in very warm conditions. Ran loops around the parking lot at HarrisY & then down Quail Hollow into the adjacent community (mi 1-2 - legs felt really fatigued almost immediately & felt very "flat"), ran a loop around parking lot in the community & then back up Quail Hollow into Y parking lot (mi 3 - it is absolutely impossible to fathom how my pace dropped off this dramatically, 30 sec p mi, vs mi 2 and compared to what I ran in mi 4 - this felt exactly the same as mi 2?), ran a loop in HarrisY parking lot & then across the street to the Elementary School & to the back & ran two laps around the back parking lot (mi 4 - over the first 1/2 mi began to lose rhythm, was sweating like crazy & this felt slower vs mi 3!). Had to stop as I felt very hot and very uncomfortable & was sweating profusely (shorts soaked). Stretched & then resumed running 1k along the 220 yd track in the back & then out & a loop of parking lot & down & into Y parking lot to finish.
