Easy Run [7:54 pace p mi adj for heat]
77 deg / 76% H [69 DP]. Even though temp was cooler the humidity and dew pt were sky high (my shorts were completely soaked when I finished and was covered in sweat). Did 2x drills (20x running but kicks + 8 side leg stretches + 15x high knees) prior and ran this easy and at a good rhythm throughout (not too fast, not too slow, hips up and up and using my glutes). Noticed that over the first 2 miles this felt "easier" -- no latent soreness fr long run. Slowed things down after seeing mile 4 split as I figured there would be at least a 20 sec adjustment w/the heat.
