Easy Run

First run after violent fall I took on Thur. Felt like I was hit w/snow shovel. Couldn't dorsi flex right foot on Sat right toe was really hurting in ball of foot (which took the brunt of what caused me to fall). Left elbow in very bad shape. Bad bruised left shoulder blade (close to dislocate). And for whatever reason left 5th metatarsal started really hurting Sat evening?

Had no idea what to expect & ran this very late & in Phillips Pl in case I had to stop if something hurt too badly. I could not really find any rhythm (given injuries & 2 days off) & had no idea of pacing. Ran this purposely easy given how my right toe & left foot felt. Ran an three expanding loops from one end to another - first was a mi (this felt easy), next was to 3 mi (this felt the same), ran mi 4 mostly in/near/around The Palm end (mi 4 - I could feel myself slowing down as my legs felt more "dull"), ran down to other end doing loops (mi 5 - felt same as prior mi), then focused on trying to "get ouf this fog" by improving form (mi 5 thru 5.5: which improved pace). Stopped to stretch, then resumed for final ~1k & actually felt stronger doing this vs last Tue & results showed.
