Easy Run

Fast walked & did drills (running butt kicks & high knees) b4hand. It was drizzling to start and rain expected so wore my heavier Gel Nimbus shoes. Started out and everything felt better vs Mon (see continual progression of healing) and felt right hamstring tightness/pain (did not feel a fist sized area of pain like prior but more like a 1" vertical line of tightness). Ran down Sharon fr Whole Foods (mi 1 - legs felt stronger vs. Sun or Mon but still not great), meandered into Rutherford & then out on Sulkirk and right on Sharon again to Y (mi 2 - not sure why pace lagged as bad as it did?), entered HarrisY fr back and onto trail for 1/2 loop onto parking lot for a loop and then out to Beverly Hills Elementary 200m oval (mi 3 - this was a net uphill w/sharp turns & can't figure out why this was faster vs. mi 2 which was all downhill & 3 sharp curves?). Ran 4 laps around oval & then out and around the school & into HarrisY parking lot (mi 4 - I could feel certain times I would start to lose rhythm during mile 4), then a 1/2 lap around the dirt trail & out to parking lot and into nice breeze up Sharon to where I had to stop at mile 5 (could feel I was badly losing rhythm & cadence towards the end of mile 5 & was sweating more profusely vs Sun or Mon). Did drills & then resumed for the final mile up Sharon to Whole Foods -- did not feel "strong" although was able to maintain rhythm. Sweating much more today - probably need to think of doing some strides if hamstring can tolerate as I lack strength. Overall this felt like Sun's run but today dew pt was 20 degrees higher and pace was 20 sec/mi faster.
