Easy Run

Feels like my right hamstring/HHT may be turning the corner & possibly healing as it feels better at points, feels stronger & can feel more "zip". Fast walked & did drills prior. Felt more humid than prior days (it was, high dew pt). Ran the hilly route, started fr Whole Foods and felt so much stronger (I could really feel for almost the first time in many months that I could "bound" especially using right leg & it made a world of difference -- felt "high in the water" & felt really strong). Ran down & a loop around mall parking lot & down Sharon (mi 1), ran a loop in church parking lot & then back out on Sharon toward Sulkirk (mi 2 - I began to feel the heat getting to me so focused on running easy -- did not feel my pace waned this badly in mi 2), right on Sulkirk & then left down Park So & right on Park to church (mi 3 - no breeze & was sweating), looped back on Park to Park South (into breeze which helped) & looped back on Park & then right on Old Reid up hill & left on Park So (mi 4 - focused on "bounding" especially climbing up Old Reid where I felt strong), down Park South & again focused on the climb up to Fairview left to Park (mi 5 - surprisingly my splits were very even), then back past Panera (at this point I could really feel myself lose rhythm) & then up to BOA (5.8 mi & stopped as I began to feel "discomfort" fr the heat, I was soaked in sweat & lost rhythm). Vented heat, did drills, & then ran the final 3/4 mi all uphill - up Fairview to Whole Foods. Finished strong,
