Easy Run

Lifted, fast walked & did drills prior. Raining, lightning & awful humidity. Right leg was bothering me (felt the trigger points in both medial & lateral quad, and felt tightness in hamstring) all day. However, when I started out on hand noticed significant decrease in pain (no excruciating pain, leg held together, about 3/10 scale), but on the other hand my legs felt terrible (felt like I had run 15 mi prior -- had no "spring" or strength). Ran fr Whole Foods & right on Sharon & then meandered in mall parking lot, meandered into The Residences, then ran down to Earth Fare & did an outer loop (hit 3 mi, felt slow on all, felt really tired), then did an inner loop and then right on Sharon. Mile 4 felt the worst (pace confirms it) & not sure if I was tired or if it was the stifling dew point or probably both but not acclimated to anything >55 dew pt (and was sweating profusely). Goal was to go 4 mi straight but at around 3.8 mi I didn't feel like I wanted to quit (die) anymore so trudged to 4.3 mi (37 min) and stopped (completely out of rhythm at this point). Did 2x drills, procrastinated, then resumed in the mall parking lot & then out (felt much better over this last mi vs prior runs where here I felt in rhythm vs prior runs where I wanted to quit I felt so bad.
