5 x Hill Sprints up Carnegie + 5 x Drills
2nd effort at Hill Sprints in prior 4 months. Felt #1 and #2 more in the right hamstring (HHT) injury area as I my form was not right and not using glutes & some overstriding which I corrected. #1 felt "rough" & #2 felt "rougher". On each I was doing toe offs in between and in doing my toe offs on #3 I was able to get better in tune w/my body and began to use glutes more & plant foot at center of gravity. I was able to translate this into #3 (which felt great & did not feel like I was going fast but I did) & to an extent on #4 (on both I felt my right hamstring much much less). Then on #5 this can only be described as a "dud" as it was inexplicable how this felt (as if my form degraded or perhaps was very afraid of "sprinting" & psychologically bailed out). Also did 5 x (15x running butt kicks + 8x high knees + 50 yds toe offs). Accurate splits below:
