6 x Hill Strides running up Fairview fr Atrium Urgent Care (+6x dynamic hamstring stretches + 50m toe offs]
Making an adjustment in running hill strides (20-25 sec effort where I run at a relaxed quick fast pace) vs a sprint (10 sec hard effort). The course gets progressively steeper which is a good thing. Ran these in the Hyperions & they allow me to "feel" connected to the ground. Was able to get into the correct form almost immediately & focused on running quickly in a relaxed form (quick cadence). Goal was to run these in the 6:30/40 range after #1 - able to pretty accurately gauge my effort to achieve this pace (and all felt "relaxed"). Accurate splits below:.
