Easy Run

58 deg, Extremely Windy - 25-30 mph steady winds gusting to 50 mph!

Right hamstring did not feel good, could not run prior two days due to right quad trigger point (pulling on knee made it feel my knee had a serious issue). Decided to wrap tape across right quad over trigger point (this helped tremendously). During fast walk and drills (butt kicks) right leg felt worse vs. Friday. Started out into wind and at times when the wind gusted to 40-50mph I was literally stood up (and could not hear). Ran out to N White Plains train station (this felt like 9 min pace). Right leg did not feel like collapsing like Fri but hamstring really tight/painful, Ran down Bronx River trail to White Plains train station (at times into the insane wind gusts), Then looped around onto Rte 119 (into the teeth of the gusts) where again I was stood up at time, then looped back (mile 3), then looped back to retrace route but miles 4 & 5 where into this wind (mile 4 was much much worse). Felt much better at mile 5 vs. Friday, stopped to do some drills and stretch hamstring just past 5 miles, and then ran back mostly w/tailwind. Both hamstrings "tight" after.
