Easy Run

Didn't realize until well into this run why I felt really bad, stiff, zero spring -- I flew in fr NY to CLT earlier. Ran the hill route down Park South & up Old Reid . Have a trigger point above medial quad (VMO) almost where quad and Adductor converge that is really tender and really hurts. Hamstring felt terrible & body felt terrible & ran into strong headwind over first mile down Sharon (this felt like 8:50 pace -- it wasn't). Hamstring felt better in mile 2 but this felt about the same pace as mile (it was the same pace but I thought it was 8:50 again!). Mile 3 involved going down Park South & then up Old Reid (really felt like I zero power going up due to hamstring). At about 3.4 miles began to feel super hot & had to stop? After about 1 min continued on & mile 4 felt the worst of the entire run (it was the fastest?). Mile 5 felt exactly the same as mile 4 (it was the slowest!). Stopped at mile 5 as I lost rhythm. Did some drills and then ran up Fairview for the final 1.15 miles (this felt much worse than mile 5 -- it wasn't?). Have needling session tomorrow.
