Fast Walk

Notes

Fast walk over first 1.6 miles (not sure why my pace was well over a minute slower on mile 1 and probably all 1.6 miles I fast walked??). At 1.6 miles transitioned into walk/jog. I knew prior to trying a jog that things would be different as I had to hop up to the sidewalk from a road in two places and did not feel any pain. When I first began to transition to jog, I was able to jog 10 steps w/moderate pain vs. the more heavier pain I experienced on Wed & Thur, plus I was able to begin at 10 steps vs. being only able to jog 2 steps on Wed and 4-8 steps at a time on Thu. At two miles in I lengthened the jog portion to about 16 steps and kept this at this range. A couple of times in mile 4 I was lengthening this past 16 steps and could immediately feel the "pain meter" rising in my upper leg and lower abdomen. I felt more pain in my lower abdomen (2" inside of my hip along my Psoas) and this was a limiting factor. I also noticed that I could not really push off when I jogged (so this was a slow jog and if I tried to push off faster it would hurt more).
