Easy Run

Took past two days off (didn't want to but trying to increase mileage gradually). Fast walked & did drills prior. Cold outside, wore long sleeve & sleeveless Nighthawk shell (ended up overheating). Started out at Phillips Pl did one loop of parking loop then out/up Fairview left into Ashley & left on Sharon to Rutherford & left on Sulkirk (mi 1-2 - legs felt good but had that "being winded" feeling like I needed to stop because I was not in shape...could really feel that much more in the 2nd mi & pace shows it). Hung left on Sharon & then ran a loop in church & then back out to Fairview (mi 3 - felt better in this mi, stride felt more bio-mechanically efficient), ran around Whole Foods & then down Sharon & around Walgrens (mi 4). At this point I was feeling too warm so ran up to Coltsgate Rd & deposited my sleeveless shell in a tree (4.6 mi). Then ran out on Sharon, down Fairview & looped around Zoe's & around back of corp park & then back up Fairview to Coltsgate to retrieve my shell (6 mi - could feel HHT/right hamstring much more towards end & also did not feel "strong"). Ran down Coltsgate the 4/10ths of a mi to Cameron Valley to begin hill sprints (did hamstring stretches just prior & these had a very positive impact).
