Easy Run

Lifted, fast walked & did drills prior. Very dry & cooler. Ran fr Trader Joe's on McMullen 3 miles out and back. No real pain to start (some very low level trigger point in right Adductor area). My goal was to maintain cadence and see how far I could run straight -- ran the 6 miles straight (so that tells me its the heat that has caused me stop since during this run I never got overheated) and had a rough spot from about mile 4 to 5 where I really had to concentrate on maintaining cadence (and after mile 5 it was like I was on autodrive). Never looked at my watch until the end but as soon as it beeped 6 miles I saw 54 minutes and flipped out - how can this be so slow? Each day I run the pace varies significantly - one day its like I feel like I'm on the road to recovering my strength, and the next day (today) I feel like I have to rush to my Dr because there has to be something fundamentally wrong w/me to regress this much?
