Easy Run

Did drills & fast walked prior. Was needled yesterday. Right hamstring still a problem as well as a trigger pt in Adductor & on along lateral quad. Started out and felt almost zero pain which is a good sign and felt "less weak" in the legs vs the prior runs over the previous 2 weeks. Still did not feel good or strong. Humidity was down and could really feel the dryer weather. Ran fr Whole Foods to Sharon & into mall parking lot for mile 1 (almost had a scooter run into me on Sharon where he had no lights and could not see him until he was 20 yds in front, then had a car almost run me over crossing Fairview who was speeding to get thru the light). Mile 2 felt the same (maintained good rhythm) running out of mall parking lot & down Fairview to Zoe's. Mile 3 was over to Piedmont down to Carnegie to the left around to the Rotunda (where a guy w/a big dog I've seen before has it off leash & the dog goes crazy), and then swung back and then past the Rotunda (mile 3) -- this felt the same as mile 2 & mile 4 but I really slowed? Mile 4 was all uphill & figured I would really slow but didn't (?) - up Barclay Downs, up over to Piedmont, out to Fairview. Then at about 4.3 mi just had to stop as I began to completely lose rhythm (the 1/3 of a mile after mile 4 felt like 10 min pace). Did some drills (running butt kicks with zero pain for the first time in abt 2.5 months & high-knees), and then resumed up Fairview to Whole Foods, retrieved water bottle and ran down to Phillips Pl (did not feel strong each time I resumed -- felt "weak" like my wheels were spinning).
