Easy Run
Tale of Two Runs. Ran this around track at JFK HS in Plainview. Horrific traffic getting there (people cut their holiday a day short because of snow storm on Sun/Mon) & was on the road for 80 minutes to get there. Felt really stiff, right hamstring hurt, right hip hurt, felt terrible to start & the splits reflect this - first mile was abysmally slow but then descended pace (but didn't feel that way). After the first mi as a change of pace ran sideways across the turf field taking sharp turns in lane 8 (~ 6 traverses). Cold (33 degrees out). After the first 3/4 mi did not feel any tightness or weakness.
