Injury Recovery Jog
Fast walked 2.4 mi prior (lower right hamstring felt tight to start but 30% less tight vs yesterday) & after ~1 mi tightness subsided. So decided to be very conservative & jog 3 minute segments. Stretched & started across fr Starbucks on Sharon at hotel. Jogged up Sharon past Sharon View to Church (felt awkward & could feel tightness/pain in right hamstring). Then ran up & left up far entrance into Church to lower lot looped around & out. Walked some & then ran out near entrance left on Sharon up & 100m into Rutherford (felt almost no tightness except running up the incline on Sharon I could feel stress in right hamstring). Then retraced path back to lower lot of Church and could feel nagging tightness/pain. Focused much more on using glutes & ran out of near entrance right on Sharon past hotel crossed Fairview. At six segments I felt better than I thought & goal was to get to about 2.5 miles. So ran up Sharon crossed Fairview & as I approached Ashley began to feel onset of greater tightness/pain & stopped -- walked a little, stretched, & turned around & ran down Sharon right on Fairview & up to Ashley (felt better on this segment, less stress on hamstring & finished). Post run had almost zero tightness??
