Easy Run [7:48 pace p mi adj for heat]
81 deg / 50% H [61 DP]. Could feel the increased humidity when I did 2x drills prior to this run (but also feeling tired). As I'm looking at these splits the first mile felt yesterday (8:25 pace) but a little slower (right foot hurt over first 1/3 of a mile). In mile 2 (w/out seeing my first mile split) I focused on slowing the pace since I had felt tired & have a workout scheduled this is supposed to be an easy workout. Kept the same pace in mile 3 as mile 2, Got up to the corner of Randolph and Sharon Amity and made a turn back thru the neighborhoods and started to feel the humidity in the air so again tried to keep a steady pace. When I stopped for traffic at Providence & Sharon Amity there was no breeze and my shorts were 1/2 soaked. As I hit about 5 miles my right foot started to really hurt, and hurt more, and the thought of this being another impactful injury entered my mind. It hurt a lot more when the road cambered up to the right so tried to adjust accordingly.
