5 x Hill Sprints up Carnegie (odds on near side / evens on far side) + 5 x Drills
Felt tired in the core given the heat & right hamstring felt tighter which hampered things on #1 & #2 (felt "mechanical" running #1 & #2, felt like I could only stay in 3rd gear & felt tightness/some pain in right hamstring). On #3 tried to concentrate on relaxing & "releasing" my hamstring & felt much smoother going up the hill (felt like I was gliding). Felt the same on #4. On #5 focused on shortening my stride which was probably why my pace slowed somewhat but this felt so much "smoother" & "less effort". Once I was able to "glide" up the hills pace dropped & could feel I was much more efficient (plus these were not at 95% or 100% efforts). Accurate splits below:
