Easy Run

Lifted, fast walked & did drills prior. Highest dew pt day since last fall & relatively warm at 70 degrees. Ran this to the metronome (set at 90) so this was a very controlled run where total focus was on maintaining cadence. Ran two loops around HarrisY parking lot & then up Sharon (mi 1), continued up Sharon left on Rutherford & right on Sulkrk to Park South (mi 2 - had a much better time maintaining cadence on road vs sidewalk & really had to concentrate going up and down a hill adjusting my stride). At 2 mi I could "feel" the stress of this but at the same time I could feel I was in a much stronger position. Ran down Park South & left on Fairview looping around after 150m (mi 3 - really had to focus maintaining cadence up Park So to Fairview), ran back up Fairview & left onto Piedmont Row down hill & right on Carnegie running around Rotunda Bldg to other side & down to Barclay Downs & then back up to Carnegie (mi 4). Pleasantly surprised at pace since when I ran to the metronome last Thur as I ran this 20-25 sec p mi faster which means I'm starting to make progress & become more efficient. Was completely sweated thru.
