Goal was to try and run 4 mi straight (down Sharon left on Ferncliff to before Colony, turn around and back. It just rained/poured so it was more humid. Fast walked 3/4 mi, drills prior. Form felt "rougher" today to start (like I was forcing it) but found I had much better rhythm in maintaining form (quick cadence) throughout -- the only difficult to maintaining rhythm was over last 4/10 of a mile. Ran this like running a 20 mi run (being conservative over first 2 mi where mile 2 was downhill), Biggest challenge was mile 3 which going up Sharon fr Ferncliff -- found that the fitness is slowly coming back as despite the abysmal pace I was able to maintain form & did not "struggle" (aka want to stop). Left foot hurt to start (4 out of 10 scale) and maintained throughout -- everytime I focused on using more of my butt and core to run I could feel a little of the stress removed.
