3 x Strides on HarrisY grass field + 4 x drills
Hard to describe what these felt like since the last strides I did were over 4 months ago. However, it became painfully clear that I have no strength (or lost all strength or the injury sapped all strength) in my legs. I could not really initially accelerate (could not "call upon" legs to accelerate), had trouble accelerating after I started, felt zero strength. I was actually surprised at the splits -- #1 felt so bad that when I looked at my watch I thought it read 8 min pace because that is what it felt like! On one hand I tried to run these as strides -- on the other hand I did not want to overdo it. Also did 4 x drills (12x butt kicks + 8x high knees & 50 yds toe pushoffs -- the latter again I felt so weak doing those). Accurate splits below.
