5 x Hill Sprints in Elementary School across HarrisY + 5x drills
Decided to run hill sprints vs. strides to further test right hamstring/HHT (& had mild discomfort after completing the 5.75 mi run prior). Ran #1 (hit Stop vs. Lap), #2 & #5 up the school parking lot hill, ran #3 & #4 up Heathstead. Felt surprisingly strong & powerful on all 5, and the splits on my watch were very different & thus was gauging my effort/speed based upon what I was seeing on my Garmin (#2 was 5:37 so then ratcheted back & was going 5:50-5:55 on #3 thru #5). Also did 5x (15x running butt kicks + 9x high knees + 50 yds toe offs). Felt some discomfort, but did not feel much of anything when I jogged the ~300m across the street to me car. Accurate splits:
