Easy Run + 4x Drills

45 degrees. Felt warm (took off jacket after a mile). As I started felt tight pain in left lower quad (fr Adductor) & over the first 4-5 min was very concerned that it would get worse and force me to stop. But fortunately it didn't, the pain/tightness crested and then over the next 5 minutes it minimized to where at 3 miles I did not feel it anymore. But I did feel my right Psoas/Adductor at times. Focused on running easy/not heard, breathing thru my nose, and purposely shortening stride and easing up any hill or incline. Even though my pace dropped in mile 3 (this felt slower than mile 2) and mile 4, perceived pace was the same. At end of mile 4 stopped to do 4 x (20 butt kicks + 8 high knees + 40 yds toe offs). Pushed off and kept an easy pace and felt in a stronger bio-mechanical position (the drills helped) and then cruised in (focusing on quick cadence and short stride).

For whatever reason left Adductor felt much better (no pain radiating down into quad) and no pain in left calf.
