Easy Run
Horrifically humid conditions. Was not motivated to run but did so late. I was afraid I would run this at 9:15 pace & had not idea or conception of pace. Ran the first 3.75 miles within Phillips Pl (laps around parking lot, loops, etc.), had not feel for pace & forced to stop as began to feel heat exhaustion set in. This did not feel like I was running at this pace & when adjusted for heat I was running this at around 8:20 pace - this felt easy, did not feel fast, felt comfortable except that it was insanely humid out). Vented heat, did dynamic stretches, then ran out of Phillips Pl up Fairview into Allen Tate for 2 loops & then back down (mi 3.75 to 4.75: felt dead, this felt like 9:30 pace & actually surprised it wasn't, felt jelly legged thru most of it).
