Easy Run (back to Phillips Pl after Hill effort starting fr Sulkirk & Park So)

I ran this easy especially in the beginning when I could feel some fatigue fr the hill set and some tightness in right hamstring (mile 1 felt like 8:30-35 pace and I actually felt like I was moving along slowly. About 1/4 mi I couldn't hear my music (the connector kept dislodging fr my water proof armband) and since I couldn't hear my music I kept hearing a "racket" every right footfall. It sounded like either I had 10 pebbles lodged in my right shoe or my right stride/footfall was seriously flawed. Stopped for a second and felt under my shoe & no pebbles. Continued on down Park So & then left on Fairview for a bit and then looped around (mile 1), then headed up Fairview and kept hearing this incessant noise fr every right footfall which started to really freak me out. When I ran behind where Zoe's is started to experiment w/stride to "correct this flaw" and noticed that if I positioned my right footfall directly underneath my center of gravity it would go away....so really focused on this (forced me to shorten stride & increase cadence). When I hit mile 2 looked at watch, expecting to see 8:45 pace and calculated I was going much faster (surprising). Continued on focusing on this "new form" (much less noise) -- the final segment felt like 8:15 pace (it was much faster). 15 min later walked onto wood floor, heard "crunching" noise, I actually had a big peeble embedded in the heel of my shoe! Hope I did not cause issues altering my form for a phantom form issue!
