Very hot and horrific conditions (88 deg at 9pm). Right foot bothersome during day. Taped both feet, fast walked 1/2 mi & drills beforehand. Goal was to run the hill up Park So fr Park 3x. Ran out ~1.4 mi fr HarrisY to Sulkirk & Park So (no conception of pace although I regressed again), and then jogged slowly down Old Reid left on Park and then attempted to "push" the pace up Park So to the top (whatever "push" means). On #1 I felt like feet were in wet cement (had no strength & it was diffcult to sustain a "push"). As I jogged down Old Reid and over to Park So felt tired, and then "pushed" again up the hill (the only goal was to sustain an "elevated" pace whatever that meant"). Felt even more tired on the jog and then again "pushed" the pace up the hill. Had to stop at the top as I felt "spent" (I thought last year when I first started these I was going slow at 7:40 pace but today I was going "snail's pace" ~8:50 pace). Then jogged back and really felt "spent". Post run 3 hours and I feel absolutely dead like a ran a tough 7-10 mi tempo run (but this was 3 x .22 mi up a hill!).
