Easy Run
Was planning to run a workout but felt pain in right hamstring after Wed's run & hill sprints (not a pull but a "tingling" pain where it would wake me up & it felt tender?)? Was going to run Thur, rest Fri, workout Sat but scrapped that plan. Started in Phillips Pl, was warm, & ran the first 2 miles in the lower & upper lots (legs felt really fresh, avoided running too quickly so as not to injure, things felt easy), ran loop of upper lot down & looped lower lot then out & left on Fairview passing The Palm (mi 3 - it did not feel like I slowed this dramatically & when that occurs it becomes a big concern), ran up left on Ashley left on Sharon right on Rutherford (mi 4 - I felt myself slowing down here & legs felt "heavy" as if I was 300 lbs), left on Sulkirk left on Sharon up & down & right into near entrance of Church looped around lower lot & then up & out far entrance right on Sharon (mi 5 - really focused on quickening cadence despite how "heavy legged" I felt), ran past Sharon View right on Ashley past Rusty Bucket & stopped at 5.5 mi (really "struggled" as I felt much weaker, "Bambi" legged & could feel how slow this was). Stretched & took off shirt, resumed down Ashley down Fairview into Phillips Pl (final 1/2 mi - this was relatively very slow running downhill after stretching).
