VO2 Max Set

Goal: 3 x .75 mi @ 5k pace (6:27/8); rest 3:30 in between (including jog .22 mi).

Nailed this set. Felt strong although legs feel tired as today is seven consecutive days of running.

Actual was 6:28 pace and if you throw out the first one I'm at 6:27 pace for #2 thru 5. Now incorporating "active rest" into Intervals where I can (so rather than walk the recovery I jogged 0.22 miles which equated to jogging for 2:10 and walking the remainder (put the 1.1 miles of jog recovery into cool-down here).

My AHR and MHR for the intervals seems very low (my legs felt this set). According to this, I expended less effort vs. the 5.5 mile run yesterday prior to the Hill Sprints where I averaged 7:44 pace? Probably need to completely recalibrate my MHR (which I have at 183 and everything seemed to right?)?
